Blue enamelware is the bedrock of French enamelware: Outside of white, it's the most popular color of vintage French kitchenalia. It's easy to see why: Blue harmonizes beautifully with most color schemes, so it truly "goes with everything." Blue enamelware comes in a variety of options: coffee pots (also known as cafétieres), tea pots, milk pails, and pitchers large and small.
I use my blue enamelware with all sorts of flowers, from bright orange tiger lilies to white and yellow daisies — it's hard to come with flowers that don't look beautiful in blue enamelware.
All of these blue enamelware pieces are vintage, from the 1900s to the 1950s. Please use them with flowers (or for other storage), rather than food.
