White Enamelware
The vast majority of French vintage enamelware is, in fact, white enamelware — not because it was a cheaper option, but because its manufacturers wanted to mimic the look of more luxurious ceramic pieces. White enamelware remains a classic, timeless option for rustic and French-style country kitchens.
White enamelware performed basically every function in the French kitchen: It was used as coffee pots, milk pails, pitchers, teapots, planters, and spice canisters.
Today, white enamelware is a beautiful vessel for flowers, art supplies, or whatever else needs to be organized!
