This is a French vintage market basket for a bike, circle 1930s. It is super substantive and strong, the perfect bicycler gift.
That said, it doesn’t need to be used for a bike! It makes excellent vintage storage, or I would use it in the garden to hold tools, or decoratively, in the laundry room, kitchen, or garage. It has a lovely, angular shape.
